Beximco Textiles Ltd, an export division of Beximco Group, has gone ‘YELLOW’, setting up a new chain of exclusive fashion shops in Bangladesh and Pakistan to sell the high quality garments that it produces for exports.
The company has opened YELLOW outlets at Gulshan Avenue, Bashundhara City and Dhanmondi in Dhaka. YELLOW received an overwhelming response from the consumers when Beximco Textiles first opened an outlet in Bashundhra.
“Because of our affordable price range and fashionable, high quality garments, customers flocked to buy our products,” said Beximco Textiles Chief Executive Officer and Group Director Mr. Syed Naved Husain. “This prompted us to venture forth and open two more retail outlets in Dhaka.”
Beximco plans to open more retail outlets in Sylhet and Chittagong and to eventually take its exclusive YELLOW brand worldwide.
There are a variety of garments available in these outlets which come in an affordable price range: Mens Formal Shirts starting from TK 799 to 999, Ultra Formal TK1199 to 1299, Ultra formal premium TK 1399 to 1499, Mens Casual Shirt from TK 599 to 899, Men's bottoms TK 599 to 899, Men's Denim Pants TK 599 to 899, Ladies Pants/Skirts TK 599 to 899, Ladies Tops TK 299 to 799, Ladies knits TK 249 to 799, Mens Knits TK 249 to 899 and Mens neckties TK 499 to 699.
Beximco Textiles is a 100% export oriented company but they decided to venture into the domestic market with YELLOW retail outlets so that Bangladeshi consumers can access the high quality clothes that are being exported out of Beximco.
“Beximco is committed to building long lasting partnerships with its customers by offering quality, service, up-to-date market information and superior garments. With this philosophy in mind, we know we must bring the right product at the right time and of course at the right price,” said Mr. Hossain.
Beximco Textiles is a vertically integrated self sufficient company. They manufacture everything from yarn to fabric to garments in their own factories. Since the company has in house laundry, printing, embroidery and lab it can make garments for the retail market in a very cost efficient manner and sell at an affordable price range. They have their own Fashion design and Product development department where designers study the globally based trend forecasts and design clothes according to the market needs. With the launch of YELLOW, Bangladeshi people and also the vast ex-pat population can now access world class garments on their doorstep.
Owing to the success of YELLOW in Bangladesh, Beximco Textiles has recently opened another outlet in Karachi, Pakistan which is also doing well and has become a fashion symbol in Pakistan .Beximco eventually plans to establish the Brand “YELLOW” worldwide, starting from the Asian Market.
