Beximco Synthetics Limited has approved 10 percent stock dividend for its shareholders for the year 2004.

The approval was made at the company’s 14th annual general meeting (AGM) held in Dhaka on Monday (June 6, 2005). Salman F Rahman, vice-chairman of the company, presided over the meeting.

Addressing the shareholders Salman F Rahman said the company earned a gross profit of Tk 155.40 million and net profit of Tk 51.02 million in 2004.

Directors of the company Iqbal Ahmed, M. A . Qasem, O.K. Chowdhury, A B Siddiqur Rahman and Company Secretary Md Asad Ullah were present.

Meanwhile the 12th AGM of Beximco Knitting Limited and 11th AGM of Beximco Denims Limited were also held on Monday (June 6, 2005) in Dhaka.
